for the Java version. AMarquee v.54 is a mechanism. With it Amiga programs, Java-applets/applications and ARexx scripts on multiple computers may easily communicate data to each other in a many-to-many, "broadcast" fashion. It consists of two parts, an inetd daemon for the server computer to run, and a Java-package for client computers to run. In addition to functions to connect to the inetd daemon there are functions to wait for connections on a port and also connect to other TCP servers, like web-servers and so on. AMarquee has been made as general as possible, and it is our hope that a variety of uses will be found for it. Programs that use amarquee.library:
