Private chat

If you press the PChat button you will connect to the one selected in the client list. A private chat window, which work almost the same as the one in the Hotline, will open. With this feature you can chat with somebody while looking at a photo at the one you are talking to. A request for a private chat will be sent to the remote host. If he/she accept you're connected, and you may exchange text messages. Topic: Here you enter a topic, if you want to change it. Say: Here you enter what you want to say. In the bottom part of the window a status text shows up. It will for the most part tell which clients the window is connected to, or if the connection went broken. The window has a menu: Project menu Iconify window Iconify this window. Save as ... Save text buffer. Quit Close the connection and the window. Action menu Clear buffer Clear the whole text buffer. Invite selected user With this feature you can connect to the client selected in the main window. Use this item to chat with multiple clients! If a photo of the remote user is available a button will appear at the bottom. Press it to download the photo. Save it the Pictures directory of the AmiComSys home directory or where you have set in the Misc-settings-Picture directory. One window can be connected to a unlimited number of clients. You will act as a server for the clients you have connected. All you say will be sent to all the others, which you are connected to in that window. What all the clients which you you have connected say will be sent to all the others which you have connected. So if you close the window the others which you have connected will also lose the "connection" to each other. With this feature it is possible to talk to all your buddies at the same time. But if the ones you have connected wants to keep talking to eachother when you must break your connection, they must connect to each other. Do this with the "Invite selected client" menu item. Learn it by testing. It's not so easy for me to describe how it's working in just text. Maybe I should draw a picture. The username display is configurable in the Chat-settings. The chat-textinput-field have some keybindings
